Greece, stage of movies that show one of the cradles of Western history and culture, has currently been the scene of intense popular demonstrations against the austerity policies taken by the government with the aim of reducing the financial problems it has faced in recent years. During the year 2012, there were many doubts about its permanence in the European Union, an economic bloc.

Brazil is one of the pioneering countries in the development of biofuels that, produced from renewable sources, can replace gasoline in car engines. Regarding biofuels, it is correct to state that

Eastern Europe is a region marked by a complex intersection of ethnic, cultural, and religious factors that often manifest in territorial disputes and sometimes armed conflicts. Historian Timothy Snyder, in his book 'Bloodlands: Europe Between Hitler and Stalin,' reinforces the idea that 'Eastern Europe is a land of uncertain borders, where changes in international power often meant changes in the identities of those living in these borders.' Based on this perspective, analyze and discuss: 1) How can transformations in political and international power trigger significant changes in the ethnic and cultural dynamics of Eastern Europe and, consequently, conflicts of identity and territory? 2) Evaluate how historical tensions and legacies of totalitarian regimes, such as those of Hitler and Stalin, continue to influence interethnic relations and geopolitical stability in the region.

The Southern Common Market (Mercosur) is an international organization created in 1991 by Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay, with the aim of promoting economic integration among these countries. However, the integration process of the bloc faces considerable challenges both economically and politically. Considering the importance of Mercosur for the region and the complexity of the factors involved in its integration, analyze and discuss the following aspects: 1) Evaluate how the diversity of interests and economic asymmetries among Mercosur members can influence the adoption of common policies in the bloc, highlighting concrete examples of measures that have been hindered or facilitated by these issues. 2) Examine how political changes in the governments of member countries can affect the dynamics of Mercosur's economic integration, considering both changes in political alignment and adopted economic orientations. Specify how a scenario of political instability in one of the countries could impact decision-making and the implementation of internal Mercosur agreements.
