They will record short videos, write posts, and create images representing the stories they heard or experienced.

- Instructions:

  • Divide students into groups of up to 5 people.

  • Each group must create a fictitious digital 'channel' on a social media platform (e.g., an Instagram profile or a Facebook page).

  • Students should plan and create multimedia content that represents their family's stories and traditions (this can include videos, photos, texts, and audios).

  • Encourage the use of video and image editing tools to enhance their presentation.

Feedback

Duration: 20 to 25 minutes

This stage aims to provide a moment of reflection and integration, where students can share their experiences, learn from each other's stories and perspectives, and receive constructive feedback on their performance. This reinforces the importance of collaboration, respect for different stories and cultures, and promotes continuous improvement through mutual feedback.

Group Discussion

Promote a group discussion with all students, where each group will share their experiences and conclusions after completing the activities. To introduce this discussion, use the following script: 'Now that all groups have completed their activities and presentations, let's share what we learned from this experience. Each group will have the opportunity to talk about the challenges they faced, the most interesting stories they discovered, and how the group dynamics worked. Let's think about how these family stories influence our identity and how technology helped us explore these stories in a new way.'

Reflections

1. What were the most surprising or interesting family stories or traditions you discovered? 2. How did creating digital content help you better understand and value your family's stories and traditions? 3. What challenges did you face while working in a group and how did you overcome them?

360° Feedback

Conduct a 360° feedback stage, where each student should receive feedback from the group members they worked with. Guide the class to provide constructive and respectful feedback, highlighting positive points and areas for improvement. For this, ask each student to answer the following questions about their peers: 1) What do you think your peer did well during the activity? 2) In which areas do you think your peer could improve? Remind them to be kind and specific in their observations so that everyone can learn and grow from this experience.
