- Objective: Practice travel and means of transportation vocabulary in Spanish in a contextualized and creative way, in addition to developing communication and collaboration skills.

- Description: In this activity, students will become digital influencers and create content for social media about a fictional trip using vocabulary in Spanish related to travel and means of transportation. They will plan a trip, document the means of transportation used, and create posts on social media such as Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube to share their experiences.

- Instructions:

• Divide the students into groups of up to 5 people.

• Ask the groups to choose a fictional travel destination in a Spanish-speaking country.

• Each group must plan the trip, including routes, means of transportation (buses, trains, etc.), schedules, and costs, using appropriate Spanish vocabulary.

• Students should create a detailed travel itinerary, highlighting the means of transportation used at each stage.

• Using their phones, students should create multimedia content (posts, videos) simulating their travel experience. They must include descriptions and captions in Spanish, using the studied vocabulary.

• The groups present their posts or videos to the class, explaining in Spanish the choices made and the vocabulary used.

Activity 2 - Treasure Hunt: Interactive Trip ️

- Objective: Apply travel and means of transportation vocabulary in Spanish in a practical and playful way, encouraging the use of digital tools and teamwork.

- Description: Students will participate in an interactive treasure hunt using digital tools such as Google Maps and online quiz platforms. They will receive clues and challenges in Spanish that involve vocabulary related to means of transportation and travel, and they will use these tools to solve questions and advance in the game.

- Instructions:

• Divide the students into groups of up to 5 people.

• Explain that the activity involves a series of challenges and clues that must be solved using Google Maps and online quizzes.

• Distribute the first clue to each group, which should be a question or a riddle involving transportation vocabulary in Spanish.

• Each clue will lead students to a specific location on Google Maps, where they will find the next clue or challenge. They must write down answers and relevant points in Spanish.

• Challenges may include questions about transportation schedules, describing bus or train routes, or identifying tourist attractions and common means of transportation in Spanish-speaking countries.

• The first group to complete all challenges wins and receives a symbolic reward.

• Hold a review session where each group shares the answers they found and discusses the vocabulary used.

Activity 3 - Travel Planning: Interactive Blog ✍️

> Duration: 60 - 70 minutes

- Objective: Practice travel and means of transportation vocabulary in Spanish in a contextualized manner, in addition to developing writing, research, and digital communication skills.

- Description: Students will become travel bloggers and create an interactive blog detailing a travel itinerary using transportation vocabulary in Spanish. They should research and include information about destinations, routes, means of transportation, schedules, and costs, and write blog posts illustrated with images and maps.

- Instructions:

• Divide the students into groups of up to 5 people.

• Ask the groups to choose a travel route that includes at least two cities from Spanish-speaking countries.

• Each group must research and plan the trip, detailing all means of transportation used, including schedules and costs, and writing the details in blog posts in Spanish.

• Students should use images and maps to better illustrate their blog posts, making them interactive and visually appealing.

• The groups should publish their posts on an educational blog platform or in a shared document.

• Each group presents their blog to the class, explaining in Spanish the details of the itinerary and the vocabulary used.

• After the presentations, students can comment and ask questions about their classmates' blogs, practicing vocabulary in Spanish.

Feedback

Duration: 15 - 20 minutes

The purpose of this stage is to consolidate student learning, promote reflection on the process of carrying out the activities, and encourage the ability to give and receive constructive feedback. This discussion and feedback moment helps reinforce the concepts learned and improve collaboration and communication among students.

Group Discussion

Encourage a group discussion where each group shares what they learned while doing the activities and their conclusions. Use the following script to introduce the discussion:

Thank the students for their active participation in the activities. Ask each group about the planning and content creation process. What were the challenges and how did they deal with them? Request that they share the words and expressions in Spanish that they found most interesting or useful during the activities. Ask the students how they felt using Spanish to communicate their ideas and if there was any improvement in their confidence when speaking the language.
