(Originais Teachy 2023) - Question Medium of Chemistry

During an experiment in the laboratory, students combine calcium carbonate (CaCO3) with hydrochloric acid (HCl) to produce calcium chloride (CaCl2), water (H2O), and carbon dioxide gas (CO2). It is known that this chemical reaction follows the following balanced equation: CaCO3 + 2 HCl -> CaCl2 + H2O + CO2. As part of the experiment, the students use 50g of calcium carbonate and an appropriate amount of hydrochloric acid for the reaction to occur completely. a) Calculate the mass, in grams, of hydrochloric acid consumed in the reaction. b) What is the mass, in grams, of calcium chloride produced in this reaction? c) Determine the number of moles of carbon dioxide gas released during the experiment.
