(Originais Teachy 2023) - Question Hard of Chemistry

A sodium hydroxide (NaOH) solution is prepared by dissolving 4.0 g of the solid in enough water to produce 500 mL of solution. Consider the molar mass of NaOH to be 40 g/mol. Based on this information, determine: 1) The molarity of the prepared NaOH solution. 2) After adding 100 mL of pure water to this solution, what will be the new molarity of NaOH in the resulting system, assuming that dilution does not change the mass of the solute and that the solutions are miscible in any proportion.
