During its evolution, stars go through different stages, determined by their initial masses. A star with a mass similar to that of the Sun, when it exhausts its hydrogen supply in the core, enters the red giant phase. Subsequently, it can contract and become a white dwarf. On the other hand, stars with masses much greater than that of the Sun, after depleting their nuclear fuel supply, can collapse into neutron stars. Considering a star with an initial mass approximately 20 times greater than the mass of the Sun, and knowing that the mass of the Sun is approximately 2 x 10^30 kg, calculate the mass of a neutron star formed from this 20 solar mass star. Explain the physical process that leads a star to become a neutron star, including the fundamental forces involved and the necessary conditions for this process to occur.
