During the 20th century, decolonization processes transformed the global geopolitical configuration and brought to light a series of complex issues involving national identities, economic development, and post-colonial tensions. Frantz Fanon, in 'The Wretched of the Earth,' reflects on the psychology of the colonized and the power dynamics after liberation, while Edward Said, in 'Orientalism,' analyzes how knowledge and culture were influenced by imperialism. Considering these perspectives: 1. Analyze the challenges faced by the newly independent nations of Africa and Asia in structuring their governments and economies, taking into account the cultural and political legacies of colonialism. 2. Discuss how Fanon's and Said's theories can shed light on the understanding of conflicts and processes of identity reaffirmation that marked the post-decolonization in at least one specific context of these continents.
