The purpose of this stage is to engage students from the beginning, connecting the topic to their interests and digital daily life. By searching for and sharing examples, students begin to familiarize themselves with the concept of object pronouns in a practical and contextualized way, preparing for the more in-depth activities to come.

Warming Up

 Warm-up: Start the class by addressing the topic 'Pronouns: Object' in a light and engaging manner. Explain to students that object pronouns are words that replace nouns receiving the action of the verb. Then, ask students to use their phones to find an interesting fact about the use of object pronouns in English, such as examples from songs, movies, or popular books.

- Objective: Encourage students' creativity, reinforce the correct use of object pronouns, and connect them to the reality of digital influencers.

- Description: Students will create a short story in groups using a digital storytelling tool such as Storybird or Google Slides. The story must be told from the perspective of a digital influencer and should include various object pronouns in appropriate contexts.

- Instructions:

• Divide students into groups of up to 5 people.

• Each group must access the chosen digital storytelling tool (Storybird or Google Slides).

• Explain that the story should be a narrative where the protagonist is a digital influencer. Students should think of everyday situations of this influencer where object pronouns will be used.

• Each group must write the story, ensuring they include at least 10 correctly used object pronouns.

• Students can add images, videos, and other multimedia elements to enrich the narrative.

• After creating the story, each group must present their work to the class, highlighting the use of object pronouns.

Activity 2 - Digital Treasure Hunt for Object Pronouns

> Duration: 60 - 70 minutes

- Objective: Promote active research and the application of knowledge of object pronouns in real and digital contexts.

- Description: Students will participate in a digital treasure hunt, where they will need to find and document sentences containing object pronouns on different websites and digital platforms, such as social networks, blogs, or YouTube videos.

- Instructions:

• Divide students into groups of up to 5 people.

• Each group should choose a digital platform to explore (for example, Instagram, YouTube, blogs, etc.).

• Students must search for sentences containing object pronouns and document these sentences in a shared document, such as Google Docs.

• Each group must find at least 10 sentences with object pronouns.

• After finding and documenting the sentences, each group must share their findings with the class, explaining the context of each sentence and how the object pronoun is being used.

️ Group Discussion: Promote a group discussion where each group of students shares their experiences and learnings while conducting the activities. To introduce the discussion, suggest the following script: 'Let's start by sharing what each group learned during the activities. I would like each group to briefly explain their digital stories, examples found in the treasure hunt, and the quiz answers. Then, we will discuss how these activities helped to better understand the use of object pronouns.'

Additionally, this stage serves to motivate students to continue exploring and practicing the use of object pronouns in various contexts of their daily lives. 

 Fun Summary: Let's imagine that object pronouns are superheroes! They come into play whenever we need to replace nouns that receive the action of the verb. For example, instead of saying 'Ana loves chocolate,' we can call on an object pronoun and say 'Ana loves it.' Today, our superheroes came into action in the digital stories we created, in the treasure hunt online, and in the interactive quiz. 
